Developers plan to build:
2,500 new housing units where none exist today
680 affordable housing units
A state-of-the-art arena replacing the outdated Richmond Coliseum
Stores, boutiques, restaurants and cafes - including a large fresh food market
The largest conference and tourism hotel in the Richmond region
A new bus transfer center
After construction, more than 9,000 positions, with a range of skills, will be available permanently. This includes people to help run the arena, stores, hotel, and restaurants, as well as office workers who will work in the many commercial workspaces.
